The purpose of this convention is to elect delegates and alternate delegates to the Quadrennial Republican State Convention.

We must elect 3 delegates and 3 alternate delegates. The alternate delegates will attend if a problem arises with one or more of the original delegates.

If you want to become a delegate there is a registration fee of 55.00 due by May 24th. The Republican State Convention will be held on June 9th, at the Marriott Pyramid Hotel, 5151 San Francisco NE, Albuquerque, NM.

Delegates elected at County Convention will vote for delegates at the state convention who will represent New Mexico at the Republican National Convention, held at the Tampa Bay Times Forum and Tampa Convention Center, Tampa Bay, Florida. Scheduled for August 27-30.

This is the first step in defeated Barack Obama for his selection bid this year, we must stay organized and talk with our neighbors and friends. No one is better off now then they were 3 1/2 years ago.

We are going to need help handing out cards and manning our booth at the Mora Fiestas and Bean Day Celebrations.
